This is a place to rediscover your brave. We are all brave, but most of us have forgotten that. We spend our time and effort hiding behind excuses and labels. Most that we give ourselves. We will cover internal topics/struggles as well as big events outside of our control. And how we pick ourselves up and learn to be brave again after life knocks us flat. (I learned to be brave and when cancer took my dad I felt I lost it all.) Now I am setting off on a journey to be the brave person I have always wanted to be. Where is your comfort zone? Notice I didn’t say happy or fulfilled zone, I said comfort zone because we can be comfortable anywhere. Even in places where we are miserable. Places we hate. How is this? Because even though we are uncomfortable, that discomfort is familiar. We know what to expect even if we don’t like it.
This week is about those doors we walk through to leave our comfort zone. To leave the familiar for what sets your heart on fire. To stop playing with the door leading back to the known. I give a real-time personal example from my own life. And honestly, this is a bit for me. To hear and know that I am brave enough to walk away for good.
