This is a place to rediscover your brave. We are all brave, but most of us have forgotten that. We spend our time and effort hiding behind excuses and labels. Most that we give ourselves. We will cover internal topics/struggles as well as big events outside of our control. And how we pick ourselves up and learn to be brave again after life knocks us flat. (I learned to be brave and when cancer took my dad I felt I lost it all.) Now I am setting off on a journey to be the brave person I have always wanted to be. The holidays can be hard. And sometimes there is no big reason. Sometimes it is a bunch of little things that seem determined to keep us from our happy.
But there is magic all around us in the world. And we can find it if we are brave enough to look. Here are a few lessons from Pawnee’s rough Christmas season. And a gentle loving reminder that it's ok if it is hard. This season is different because you are different. But it can still be magic.
